JD-PETROLEUM ENGINEER Carry out a variety of duties related to the preparation and execution of programs and surveys for well testing, completion, workover, production logging, well evaluation and monitoring activities. Includes preparing drilling and workover schedules, supervising well completion, evaluating well performance, preparing well monitoring programs, well stimulation for injection and supervising wireline production logging. Assist in the preparation of a variety of reports and studies such as drilling proposal, well completion, well testing, well monitoring and review of well performance reports. Well Design, Survey & Monitoring § Prepare well completion design Prepare and supervise the well monitoring programs as required. Include drawing up the programs, recommending monitoring survey for individual wells, supervising well monitoring surveys at well site, interpreting and evaluating tests and logs for detecting reservoir tendency, estimating actual producing zone and injection zone, etc. Operational Efficiency Optimization § Optimize operational efficiency to meet internal standards and objectives § Prepare acidizing program for well stimulation, ensuring minimum cost and maximum benefits considering the characteristics of each well such as flow rates, pressure and strength of acid to be used, etc. § Prepare work plan for Rig less job by utilizing boat and barge and supervise Service Contractors to carry out any operations effectively § Liaise with Production Unit for job arrangement on offshore Production Operations and Facilities § Identify impact of various completion and reservoir parameters on well productivity in relation to surface facilities parameters. § Provide data and assist in surface facilities network simulation for network system optimization. § Participate and provide support in de-bottlenecking of certain facility layout. § Provide support and inputs on understanding. § Surface production/injection facilities function and layout. Process of well data monitoring and implementation of allowable. Well Performance Evaluation Evaluate inflow and outflow performance between the reservoir and the wellbore and recommend work over and/or well services to meet the production target. Well testing and sampling programs. § Prepare required equipment and tools to conduct well test. Supervise Service Providers/Contractors at well site to achieve job objectives. Well Integrity § Prepare and carry out well monitoring plan in line with Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) § Ensure proper monitoring of down hole corrosion. Includes the running of corrosion logs in new and workover wells and the installation of corrosion coupons in key wells, investigating the frequency of repairs of corroded completion strings and its repair methods. Liaise with Production personnel concerning results obtained and the effectiveness of inhibitors used. MIS and Reports Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate functional MIS statements and reports of geophysical functions to meet CLIENT function requirements, policies and standards. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Implement approved functional policies, processes, procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner. Continuous Improvement Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of operations & production unit systems, processes and practices considering international best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Relationship Management Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal functions & external entities (such government authorities, service providers, contractors etc) with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner. Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment § Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operations engineering section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Ensure effective accident investigation and follow-up in accord with statutory requirements and to ascertain the non – occurrences of the same incidents. Reports § Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate functional statements and reports to meet CLIENT and function requirements, policies and standards. § Ensure that all functional reports of administration activities are prepared timely and accurately and meet CLIENT function requirements, policies and standards. Provide management with organizational reports as and when necessary.
