Production
Carry out market research for all events through phone research and must have excellent phone manner and the ability to convey your message in a succinct, persuasive manner
Ability to grasp technical and complex oil and gas subjects quickly
Committee building and Speaker Acquisition
Manage committee members and facilitate committee meetings prior to the event, confirming issues/topics to be addressed. This requires strong training and development skills and leadership.
Put together technical topic brief, including competitive analysis, defining focus and target audience and any potential sponsors and media partners
Ensure project team delivery
Ensure profitability on all projects
Manage event budgets
Ensure that production schedule is meeting all deadlines always
Project Management
Lead internal clients and you colleagues to work in an integrated manner as a project team. Outlining KPIs for your team members on a weekly basis. Regular catch-up and analyzing current situation of project and what is the best way forward.
Lead external clients and committees, boards, sponsors, and delegates etc. Especially comfortable handling a board and being the facilitator at committee meetings. A hands on person with high levels of energy to rally positivity and convince the industry of your mission.
Ability to proactively trouble shoot the problems and challenges that come up on a daily basis on your projects/events and asking for support where needed, but being proactive in coming up with your own solutions
Marketing
Research and establish media partner relationships
Write copy for the brochure and finalising for print
Write copy and execute marketing campaigns leading up to the event
Identify and secure 6-10 media partners per event
Operations
Speaker and Committee liaison
Preparation for onsite operations and put together workshop booklets, signage, banners etc
Manage and run the conference on the day
Carry out any other activities management deem appropriate to successfully complete the project.
Strong admin and organizational skills a must
